PLAYLIST: Small festival, big taste

Some things don't happen because they have to.
They will arise because there is no other way.

After years of working on projects like Bubobola, Space Odyssey, and Secrets of Kandahar, I realized one thing: I miss the physical aspect. A place where people meet. Where a film doesn't end as a YouTube link. Where you look at the screen and someone next to you is quietly holding their breath.

And that's how it's made Playlist.

Small film festival.
Short format.
Strong content.

Why am I doing this?

Because I believe that a film should be an experience, not just a data set.
Because I enjoy connecting worlds – animation, sci-fi, experimentation, music, humor.
Because I want things to happen *now*, not „someday.“.

The playlist is about energy. About the joy of creation. About how even a small action can have a big impact. I'm not chasing technical terms or grant-funded sentences. I want everyone to understand it. To sit down, take a look, and leave with the feeling that the world is a little bit again more interesting.

What will you see at the festival?

The playlist won't be just about one world. It'll be a journey through my whole little multiverse.

On the canvas, it comes alive Bubbles – a little girl from the fairy-tale Solar System, which originated as my personal project. It's not a classic children's fairy tale. It's a playful, visually stylized world where fantasy, humor, and a touch of gentle exaggeration blend together. My daughter and I voiced this fairy tale. We created our own visual identity for the character, our own character, our own energy. No generic template. The bubble has a soul.

And of course, it won't be missing Secrets of Kandahar – synthwave sci-fi universe where human and machine, love and algorithm, desert and neon collide. From "Broken Heart" through subsequent chapters to cosmic overtones – Kandahar on the screen functions differently than on a monitor. It's a ritual of light and sound. The project has just The whole album is out!

A Then comes something that hasn't been here before.

Premiere of the gastro sci-fi comedy

Yes, you read that correctly.

No Playlist will take place premiere of the gastro sci-fi comedy.
Because who says the universe can't taste?

Combine food, humor, and science fiction? Why not. I’ve always enjoyed mixing genres, breaking boundaries, and doing things that sound like a bad idea… until you see them on screen. The film is part of the Liturgy of Emergence or Prayer of Hyperfantasy trilogy.

How do I do that?

Simply.

I don't need a huge budget or ten PR agencies.
I need an idea. Energy. And people who will come.

Playlist isn't a festival that plays at being important. It's a festival that plays. And that's precisely where its strength lies.

Minimum pose.
Maximum experience.

I want you to feel welcome. Whether you're a film buff, a sci-fi fan, a music enthusiast, or just someone who enjoys a good movie night.

Bet? Easy.

Connect.
Inspire.
Have fun.

A playlist is a small laboratory universe. A testing ground for ideas that would otherwise remain in a drawer. And if they prove successful? They will grow.

So if you want to be there when something new is born, come.
Because the best playlist is one you experience live.
